At the present time, 137 transplant centers in 23 Western European countries are participating to ELTR.
Both The number of transplant centers and the annual number of Lts performed in Europe had gradually increased since ELTR has been created (290 LTs in 1985, 3972 in 2000 and 5207 in 2004)
